Montreal - Rosemont 2019
Rain or shine, your kids will have a memorable summer at Camp Langmobile!
6855 13e avenue
Montréal (Rosemont), H1X 2Z3
As English immersion is our camp’s central theme, we decided to incorporate featured activities to enhance the experience. Children learn more easily when they’re doing something that interests them in an atmosphere they love.
Language Lab + Special Activity = Fun!

Activities your child will participate in at Camp:
We take great pride in having created the Langmobile Language Lab, a unique and dynamic approach for all age groups encouraging them to think in English in addition to improving their oral communication.
Langmobile programming has always been our Pride and Joy! Language Lab is always fun and always interactive. Each child receives an original language lab activity book adapted to each age group. This coupled with our very own Specialized Activity has always been our winning summer camp formula. It is our greatest joy to create an unforgettable learning experience
The children learn through familiar themes and easy integration of the engaging melodies and lyrics of Langmobile’s original songs. Physical expression, mime, crafts and repetition of vocabulary are integrated throughout the songs and activities. Any complexes or shyness melt away. The children enthusiastically participate in the workshops and show remarkable retention of vocabulary and grammar as they learn the melody of the song and its lyrics, along with the vocabulary, structure and expressions within it.
Learning here also happens in a fun and interactive way, helping your children improve their competence in English. We introduce new principles of grammar that help them better express themselves. They also learn essential elements like adjectives, past tense, present tense, present progressive, verbs, auxiliary verbs, questions (Who? What? Where? When? and Why?) and adverbs. Our goal is to give children the necessary tools (grammar, sentence structure, vocabulary…) to be able to think and speak in English.
It’s a fantastic age to offer them an enriched English program. They already have a good foundation in English on which we can structure learning. Through activities that interest teenagers, we will challenge them to express themselves in English using the correct grammatical structure. The Language Lab is writing, reading and oral communication. We will encourage teamwork, leadership, bringing young people together around a common project and all this in English. We want them to think and to be able to express themselves in English.
This activity takes place outside whenever weather permits. Children learn and play at the same time! Not only will they play games in giant format, we’ll be creating a team activity that encourages the kids to use their English through lively competition – players advance in the game by speaking English!
New to langmobile this year. Prepare your child to have FUN! This new activity plans for little else! One day a Scavenger hunt, another day Mini Olympics, another day of jump roping, obstacle courses and to top it off a day dedicated Lets have a ball!
Kids can be introduced to circus arts by taking different workshops and practicing specialized activities. Circus activities help children in their artistic development by participating in dynamic and diverse workshops that include juggling, diabolo, devil sticks, balancing ball and more! On the weekend the children will perform what they’ve learned to parents!
This camp gives children the chance to cook and to understand the importance of a balanced diet. The kids themselves will prepare healthy dishes. On the menu: breakfast, easy lunch recipes, supper, desserts and recipes with raw foods. Learning English happens through cooking different cuisines and through nutrition, using vocabulary, grammar and sentence structure in a really fun context.
Practice dancing while learning English. A week in motion, of course! The kids will learn a choreography AND a song. They will have a week to perfect it and present it to family and friends. Whether beginners or experts, all children have a place in this rhythmic camp! We will introduce coordination, flexibility and body awareness which will strengthen the body and all this in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation to demonstrate the basis of collaboration between them.
Music is a universal language that reaches virtually everyone. Langmobile has created a unique music program for children aged 5 to 12 years old. We’ll start the week with several music genres the kids know well, like rock, pop, reggae, hip-hop, R&B, etc. At the end of the week the kids will perform a piece that they themselves have created. And each will play a musical instrument!
Back Yard Olympics! New to Langmobile this summer and especially designed to get your child excited about winning a gold metal in English! These fun games are inspired by summer Olympic activities, long jump, relay race, pool noodle Javelin and much more. The children will also have a variety of crafts to do that ignite their creativity and get them involved in designing the backyard feel to the games.
Coordination - physical fitness – concentration. We find that combining these activities with Langmobile’s art-based activities is a winning formula. Kids love things like taekwondo, kung fu and aikido that encourage physical fitness. We introduce them to these fun summer activities in a unique way so they can find out more and get to practice these martial art forms. Light meditation and mindfulness are also part of what they learn in each class. * We make no claim as to being a martial arts school and always promote non-violent activities.
Push! Pull! Run! Jump! Start! Climb! Raise! Stretch! Breathe! Canalize! A healthy and healthy life waits ! This activity focuses on well-being with a combination of yoga and fitness for children. A creative and fun formula that will challenge them, while being adapted for the level and sensitivity of each child.
Your kids will get great exercise by playing a wide range of team sports like soccer, hockey, football, tag football and more! They’ll learn English in an athletic environment where they’ll become familiar with the vocabulary. A week of fun and high spirits
What’s better than learning English and being able to visualize it! An unforgettable music video, a memorable advertisement, a short film full of emotion... the video medium opens a multitude of possibilities. Your teens will work as a team to do a variety of projects that interest them. We will talk about Youtube and links to social networks that are created online. A whole camp to perfect their English!
A picture is worth a thousand words and that’s exactly what we will discover with your children! The young people who will take part in this camp will be able to immortalize moments with their photos and will be able to add a description in English. We will explore the different techniques of photography in addition to accompanying your children to the creation of a text in English. We will post their creations on our Langmobile blog, on our Facebook page and tweet about it. One of the only camps where your children can bring their smart phones.

At Langmobile, we care deeply about your children’s wellbeing and their safety is a top priority. Our team makes sure your children are always well-hydrated and protected from the sun.
It is of the utmost importance that you keep your child at home if she/he is sick or running a temperature. This is to protect the other children from contagion, and we cannot keep any child at camp who is showing symptoms of illness. If this is ever the case, we will contact you.
Please be sure to advise the camp supervisor of any allergy or health issue your child may have. If your child needs an EpiPen, please be sure to give one to the camp supervisor.
An update form must be filled out if your child needs to take medication. We cannot administer any medication if this form has not been completed. Forms are available at the reception desk.
Camp managers can not be held responsible if events are caused by missing information on the registration form (diseases, disabilities or allergies).
Langmobile is proud to offer one of the best child supervision ratio in the field of day camps.
5-10 years old : up to 10 children per animator
11-12 years old : up to 12 children per animator
Langmobile favours small groups, which lets the children develop a personal and trusting rapport with their animator.
You can meet your child’s animator outside camp hours. Ask the supervisor for an appointment.
Langmobile animators...
We keep strict control over the arrival and departure of each child.
You must sign the attendance sheet on arrival AND on departure. On the first day of camp, you will be issued a passport and asked to write your child’s name in it. On departure, the parent or person responsible for the child must present the passport or a picture of it.
On the first day, your child will be welcomed by the Langmobile team of animators. At assembly, the line-up of activities will be explained. Team games will help introduce the children to each other, break the ice and help them feel at ease. Rest assured that our animators are fully trained and will offer your child a personal, reassuring welcome that will help them feel relaxed and secure.
You must advise the camp supervisor if your child:
To retrieve your lost items, please contact the Langmobile supervisors. Langmobile is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
*Please identify your child’s clothing and items with her/his full family name.
At Camp Langmobile, all the campers...
Langmobile Day Camps reserve the right to cancel a registration for disciplinary reasons (non-compliance with the camp guidelines).
Our animators use a constructive approach based on positive values. They are trained to reinforce and reward positive and appropriate behaviours and take all measures necessary to ensure that the children are not witness to any harassment or bullying.
Even if the children evolve in a climate of openness and tolerance, some behavioural issues can arise.
If a child shows signs of problematic behaviour during camp activities, the camp supervisor will first meet with the child and a parent to talk about the behaviours and evaluate the situation in order to find a satisfactory solution. If a child exhibits behaviour that has a negative emotional or physical impact on the other children (including harassment and bullying), the consequences can be more serious, such as removal from the program or immediate expulsion.
Langmobile advocates respect at all times for the environment and for the property of others. If any child commits acts of vandalism either inside or outside the camp, they can be expelled. Fees may also be charged to the parents.
1. Are the children classed by level? No, they are grouped according to age. Our objective is to respond to the children’s interests by creating a natural English-immersion environment that enhances learning. We do not encourage memorization or learning by heart.
2. Will my child learn English in one week? That depends on the child’s level. An advanced child will be able to perfect their knowledge of English and practice it in a fun, immersive environment. They may also help their friends or even help the animator with demonstrations. A child who is beginning or more or less comfortable can break the ice and feel more at ease in English. Ideally, in a session a child just beginning will acquire a higher comfort level in English, improved comprehension, and will have several words and phrases in their vocabulary. Each child is unique, and learning will vary from one child to another.
3. Can my child be with their friend or brother/sister?Yes, of course. When you register your child, indicate the name of the friend, brother or sister in the “Friend” section. However, we must respect the age groups.
4. Do you recommend 2 weeks of camp?Yes, we do. Learning a second language is much easier and more natural when the child is in an immersive environment. This is doubly true for a child’s first experience, and they will be even more relaxed and receptive in the second week.
5. Do you speak French with the children? For some explanations, the safety regulations, the program and of course, in case of health problem, we will speak in the mother tongue of the child.
6. Will the children speak French to each other? From the first day we ask all participants to make constant efforts to speak in English. Your children will be encouraged to speak English! We want children to feel confident, it is normal for children to speak French more specifically during free games. Learning continues in day care, English immersion is important to us.
We supply a statement 24 slip (childcare expenses) for day camp. To receive your statement 24 slip for tax purposes, follow the instructions on our Amilia registration platform at https://vimeo.com/226921728
